The BAPE 1st Camo By Bathing Ape Tee 'Black / Yellow' stands as a definitive piece in A Bathing Ape’s legacy, merging the brand’s streetwear heritage with the unmistakable vibrancy of its iconic camouflage. Known globally for pioneering Japanese street fashion since 1993, BAPE continues to influence contemporary culture with its signature graphics and bold aesthetics. This tee exemplifies that ethos—combining the disruptive power of camo with refined design sensibility.
Overview
The tee features BAPE’s classic 1st Camo print, rendered in a striking yellow-on-black palette that amplifies contrast and brand recognition. At the center, the bold “By Bathing Ape” logo is screen-printed in white, sitting atop the chest and anchoring the design with a minimal yet powerful statement. Crafted from 100% cotton, the shirt provides both comfort and durability, maintaining its structure through repeated wear. A woven BAPE head label is stitched at the sleeve, further authenticating the piece. The tee’s boxy, relaxed fit nods to 90s skate and hip-hop fashion—key inspirations in BAPE’s early identity. Released as part of a core seasonal drop, this colorway remains a staple for those seeking bold yet timeless streetwear essentials.
Key Highlights
• Iconic 1st Camo Pattern: Features BAPE’s signature 1st Camo in yellow, contrasted against a black base for standout visibility.
• Classic “By Bathing Ape” Logo: Bold central chest print reinforces the brand’s legacy with clean, high-quality screen-printing.
• Premium Cotton Construction: Made from 100% heavyweight cotton, ensuring breathability and lasting wear.
