The BAPE x adidas Shark Fleece Full Zip Hoodie 'Black' (2025) is the latest evolution in the ongoing partnership between streetwear giant A Bathing Ape (BAPE) and global sportswear powerhouse adidas. Known for merging Japanese streetwear sensibilities with athletic functionality, this 2025 release modernizes one of BAPE’s most iconic motifs—the Shark hoodie—while incorporating subtle Three Stripes branding and elevated construction.
Overview
Crafted in a heavyweight fleece fabric, the hoodie arrives in a sleek all-black colorway that accentuates the bold design language synonymous with BAPE. The full zip construction features the brand’s signature shark motif emblazoned across the hood, complete with embroidered teeth, eyes, and nose detailing that zip up for a full-face look. Co-branded elements from adidas and BAPE appear throughout, most notably on the sleeves and chest, while the classic adidas Three Stripes run subtly down each arm, blending into the fleece for a refined finish. A kangaroo pocket adds everyday utility, and ribbed trims at the cuffs and hem secure the hoodie’s shape. This piece encapsulates the essence of high-end streetwear, offering a fusion of bold graphic identity and premium craftsmanship.
Key Highlights
• Collaboration Between BAPE and adidas: Represents a continued partnership dating back to the mid-2000s, uniting heritage streetwear with performance heritage.
• Signature Shark Hoodie Design: Features the iconic BAPE shark face embroidered across the hood, a hallmark of BAPE’s graphic language since 2004.
• All-Black Colorway With Co-Branded Details: Clean monochrome base enhanced by BAPE and adidas branding on the sleeves and chest for subtle distinction.
