The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro 'Michael Jackson Moonwalker' (2025) celebrates two cultural icons—Kobe Bryant and Michael Jackson—through a design that captures performance innovation and artistic flair. Inspired by Jackson’s legendary “Moonwalker” era, the sneaker blends elite basketball engineering with bold, stage-inspired details.
Overview
The silhouette features a premium Flyknit upper dressed in a shimmering mix of black, silver, and iridescent tones that evoke Jackson’s iconic sequined outfits. Carbon fiber accents on the heel and midsole enhance stability, while the Lunarlon cushioning ensures responsive comfort and court-ready performance. A reflective Swoosh and speckled midsole nod to the “moonwalk” theme, highlighting movement and rhythm. The inner tongue tag pays tribute to Kobe’s artistry on the court, paralleling Jackson’s mastery of the stage—both redefining their respective crafts with precision and grace.
